Front Row Seat

January 23, 2021 @ 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Free

Our goal is to bridge the divide the separates us, in real and practical ways.

This happens through courageous conversations, interactive and transparent dialogs, marked by humility and mutual submission.

As we share stories and questions, we bring understanding to the unique experiences of race – from either side of the aisle. We aim to build compassion for one another and to create unity as one body – one family, under Christ.

Front Row Seat, begins with panelists of differing ethnic backgrounds sharing experiences and tackling tough questions. Participants will have opportunity to be a part of the dialog in breakout groups: sharing and listening to racism’s impact on their lives through stories and responding with curiosity, compassion, care, and a new understanding.

Click here to check out videos from a previous Front Row Seat Event and for a list of thought-provoking resources which will help you begin to think through some of the issues that may come up in our discussion.

If these resources prompt you to ask “how can I be a bridge-builder?” you are invited to be a part of the Online Front Row Seat on January 23rd! Listen, learn, and engage through active participation.

Our goal is to foster new understanding that will begin to break down those walls that divide not only our city, but the church as well.
